Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a PayPal account to make my purchase?

You will not need a PayPal account to make your purchase. There will be an option on the PayPal Popup Window to click "Pay with a credit or Visa Debit card" when you checkout.

Why does the website ask for my "Delivery Address" if the order isn't being shipped to my home?
This is a default setting for the website. All orders will be delivered to the Bennett Centre then distributed to the school site you select at checkout.

What will my Credit Card/Visa Debit Card statement say?

Your Credit Card or Visa Debit Card statement will show
"PAYPAL ABOVE BEYOND PROMOTIONS"

Why are the 2XL's and the 3XL's more expensive?

Beyond just the front and back panels, larger sizes require more material for the sleeves, hood, and ribbing. Heavier garments increase shipping costs. Because 2XLs and 3XLs are produced in smaller quantities, the "cost per unit" goes up.

Will the apparel shrink after washing?

Yes. you will experience some shrinking when washing since most of the apparel on the BAMshop is a 50/50 cotton and polyester blend. To minimize shrinking, wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.

Can I try on the apparel before I buy it?

Sizers will only be available at the Metro site. Please use the sizing charts or see Curtis O in Room 26 at the Metro Site

Who is Above and Beyond Promotions?

They are an Edmonton based promotions company specializing in branding, marketing, and online stores. They have been an approved EPSB vendor for over 25 years and have worked with many schools in the district including, Lillian Osborne High School and Vimy Ridge Academy. You can visit their website at  https://www.abpromo.ca/  or email them at info@abpromo.ca

Can I make a return or an exchange?

There are no returns, all sales are final, but we will have extras on hand at the Metro site for exchanges. Please see Sandra H. or Shirley D. for any exchanges. Sizes and quantities will be limited.

Why doesn't the online store stay open permanently?

There are fees associated with keeping an online store open permanently. To keep costs down, it's more economical to open the store up periodically during the year. This also allows us to hit the minimum orders when required.

How did the apparel designs come to fruition?

There were 8 different designs presented to multiple focus groups here at BAM. The focus groups included both Teachers and Administration.  Because we have to hit the minimum order on each design we needed to reduce the number of designs down to only three options.

Can students order apparel from the BAMshop?

Eventually we will open the BamShop to students. We are sorting out the logistics and costs associated with delivering to their homes.

Who is responsible for the online apparel shop at BAM?

Curtis O. and Erin R. worked on this together. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to them. Sandra H. Jodi B. and Shirley D. are also in the loop and will be able to help with distribution and exchanges.

Will BAM be keeping any apparel in stock?

Yes. The Admin team has agreed to purchase extra stock to use for welcoming new staff, to hand out as gifts, or to sell to new and current staff. You will be able to purchase these items from Sandra and Shirley at the Metro site. Sizes and quantities will be limited.

When will my order arrive at my school site?

All orders will ship to the Bennett Centre where inventory will be completed. After inventory is completed and all orders are accounted for, the apparel will be shipped to the appropriate sites. We are hoping to have all the orders in hand on or before May 8th.
